Low pressure to trigger heavy to very heavy rainfall till October 3: IMD

As per IMD, yesterday’s low-pressure area over the northeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal has become a well-marked low pressure.

Low Pressure To Trigger Heavy Rainfall

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall activities in different parts of Odisha in the next couple of days.

As per IMD, yesterday’s low-pressure area over the northeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal has become a well-marked low pressure. It is likely to move west-north-westwards across north Odisha and adjoining West Bengal coasts during the next 24 hours.
