Low pressure to trigger heavy rainfall in Odisha for next 2 days: IMD

Several districts are likely to experience heavy rainfall activities in the next 48 hours and an ‘orange warning’ has been issued from some districts, said IMD.

Heavy Rain Likely In Odisha

The low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal-north Odisha coasts and the associated cyclonic circulation persists.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday informed that the low-pressure area is likely to move northwestwards across Jharkhand during the next two days. As per IMD, several parts of Odisha experienced moderate to heavy rainfall activities for the past two days.
