A low pressure area is likely to form over north Odisha and its neighbourhood around July 4, said India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The formation of the fresh low pressure system is likely to trigger enhanced rainfall activities.
As per IMD, the southwest monsoon has further advanced into entire Punjab, Haryana and more parts of Rajasthan today. The conditions are favorable for further advance of monsoon into remaining parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat during next 2-3 days. Hence, southwest monsoon is likely to cover the entire country during next 2-3 days.
