Odisha to witness heavy rainfall
A low-pressure area is likely to form over the West-central Bay of Bengal and the neighbourhood during the next 24 hours, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
As per the IMD, thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur in 24 hours.
Apart from this, several parts of the state are also likely to experience heavy rainfall activities on September 26 and September 27, 2024.
