Low-pressure forms over Bay of Bengal

The cyclonic circulation over Northwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has turned into a Low Pressure, the India Meteorological Department said on Monday.

The system is likely to intensify further and move towards Odisha coast in Northwest direction, said the weather bureau.

The low-pressure area and its associated cyclonic circulation is extending 5.8 km above mean sea level persists.
