As per IMD, two places in Odisha experienced extremely heavy rainfall activities under the influence of active monsoon conditions and low pressure system in the past 24 hours.
Low Pressure Weakens
The low pressure area over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast with associate cyclonic circulation has weakened, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.
The weather development has brought smiles back on the faces of people, especially those who could not visit Durga puja pandals in different parts of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar in the past two days.
Though the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar experienced rainfall in the wee hours today, the conditions are likely to Improve in the second part of the day even though the sky still remains overcast.
As per IMD, two places in Odisha experienced extremly heavy rainfall activities under the influence of active monsoon conditions and low pressure system in the past 24 hours. Similarly, 34 places recorded heavy rainfall activities in the past 24 hours.
