The Low Pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining the North Andaman sea now lies over the Southeast Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move nearly westwards and reach Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal off south Andhra Pradesh north Tamil Nadu coasts on November 18, 2021, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.
As per IMD, several parts of Odisha will experience moderate rain and thundershower activities till November 21.
A Yellow Warning for heavy rainfall has also been issued for four districts. The alert has been sounded for the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Ganjam and Gajapati (Valid from November 20 till 0830 hours on November 21).

Day-1 (valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 17.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the district of south coastal Odisha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kandhamal and Boudh.
Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 17.11.2021up to 0830 hrs IST of 18.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur in one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam and Puri.
Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 18.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 19.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur in one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur and Kandhamal.
Day-4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 19.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 20.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada.
Day-5 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 20.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 21.11.2021)
Yellow Warning (Be updated): Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam.
