IMD issues yellow alert for thunderstorm with lightning in several Odisha districts

As per the IMD, there will be no major change in the maximum temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next five days.

Even as the rise in maximum temperature is causing all sorts of inconvenience to people, the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast for thunderstorm activities is likely to provide some respite.

As per the IMD, there will be no major change in the maximum temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during next five days. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 42 degrees Celsius or more at few places during next five days over some districts of interior Odisha (Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Jharsuguda,Bargarh).
