The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for several Odisha districts.
As per IMD, thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri and Kandhamal in the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is also likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Dhenkanal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Nuapada.
