IMD issues orange warning for thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds up to 50 kmph in Odisha

The IMD has issued an orange warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 50 kmph across various districts in Odisha. The maximum temperature in the state is expected to drop by 4-6 degrees C in the coming days.

IMD Issues Thunderstorm Alert For Odisha

A cyclonic circulation lies over south Jharkhand while yesterday’s trough from northeast Bihar to north Odisha has become less marked, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.

As per the previous forecast, the maximum or day temperature is very likely to fall by 4-6 degrees C during the next 3-4 days in Odisha. The fall in the maximum temperature would be mainly due to Nor’wester in different parts of the state in the coming days.
