The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in several parts of Odisha in the next few days. As per the IMD, the maximum temperature (Day temperature) is very likely to fall further by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius at many places over the districts of Odisha during next three days and no large change is expected thereafter.

Yellow Warning: Heat wave condition is likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bargarh. Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangapur, Koraput, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.

Yellow Warning: Heavy to very heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh.

Heavy rainfall is also very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Koraput.
