Deep Depression update: IMD issues red warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Odisha districts

As per IMD, yesterday’s well-marked low pressure area over central parts of the north Bay of Bengal has concentrated into a depression. The system is about 160 km southeast of Khepura (Bangladesh) and 400 km east-southeast of Digha (West Bengal).Moreover, the system has intensified into deep depression today.

Red Warning For Heavy Rainfall In Odisha

A day after heavy rainfall activities threw normal life out of gear in several parts of Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted that the rainfall activities will continue in the coming days.
