A cyclonic circulation lies over Gangetic West Bengal and the neighbouring areas. Due to its’ influence, several parts of North Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will experience widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy rains during the next 2-3 days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday informed that the Southwest Monsoon is active over Odisha. Several parts of north and south Odisha experienced light to moderate rainfall in the past 24 hours.
