After getting some relief in the past couple of days, cold conditions are likely to return in Odisha. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday informed that there would be a change in the minimum or night temperature in the next three to four days.
Moreover, the minimum temperature is likely to fall by 2 to 3 degrees C thereafter over the districts of Odisha, said IMD.
The IMD has also issued a yellow warning for dense fog in several parts of Odisha.

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 16.01.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Cuttack, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur, Angul and Deogarh.
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Nayagarh, Khordha, Kalahandi, Kandhamal.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 16.01.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 17.01.2025): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Khordha, Cuttack, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sonepur,Angul, Deogarh, Nayagarh.
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal.
