Bhubaneswar: Students of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla have bagged all India rank six in the prestigious RoboCon, an International College Robot competition.
The team of VSSUT secured all India rank six among 114 participating teams.
The Two teams from Odisha had participated in the RoboCon held in March.
Broadcaster Doordarshan and MIT, Pune organise RoboCon event every year. The Winning team at the RoboCon gets a chance to represent the country at international robot competitions.
In August, a team of VSSUT students had won the champions trophy and the best innovation award at the Asia's first inter-college rocket competition held in New Delhi.
The students had launched rocket VSLV 1.0 at the inter college rocket competition organised by the Space Development Nexus and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries .
