Youth lies down on track for reel as train passes over him, arrested; watch
The obsession among youths with reels is taking concerning turns. Several reports have surfaced about youths risking their lives for recording reels. Recently, one such video surfaced on the internet that shows a youth risking his life to film a short video by lying down on a railway track. Though the train passed over him, he escaped unhurt only to land behind bars.

In the shocking incident, the youth hailing from Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district risked his life by lying on the railway track. The dangerous stunt was performed near Kusumbhi Railway Station. Identified as Ranjit Chaurasia, the youth is seen lying down on the railway track while holding his mobile. He remained on the track as a train passed over him and he filmed the moment on his mobile camera.
He later uploaded the video on social media using the title track of Shah Rukh Khan's movie Baadshah.
Soon the video went viral on social media drawing the attention of railway authorities. The Government Railway Police (GRP) swung into action and arrested the youth. GRP Inspector Arvind Pandey confirmed the arrest.
Pandey said, "Once the video surfaced, a case was registered against the accused for obstructing the railway track, and he was sent to jail."
The official deemed the action as reckless and a serious threat to railway operations and public safety. Further, he warned that any future attempts to obstruct railway operations would be met with strict legal action.

Meanwhile, the incident has once again sparked discussions around the trend of making reels while risking lives. For the sake of views and likes, youths are risking their lives and raising threats for others as well.
