The suicide of Atul Subhash, a Bengaluru-based software engineer, became a national flashpoint after his 24-page suicide note and 80-minute video alleged systemic harassment by his wife and in-laws through multiple legal cases.

While people have yet to forget Subhash’s case, another TCS techie, Manav Sharma, also died in a similar manner by suicide due to alleged harassment by his wife. Several such suicidal deaths by men recently have sparked protests by Men’s Rights Activists demanding reforms to India’s divorce laws, particularly the perceived misuse of anti-dowry laws (Section 498A) and alimony demands.

Amidst reports of men being subjected to financial extortion through prolonged litigation and disproportionate alimony orders by their wives, a particular video of a woman confessing to extorting money from her boyfriend has caught the attention online.

Live-in Relationships Turning Into Scam:

The 33-second video shows the woman confessing to extorting money from her boyfriend using fraudulent means. As per her confession, the woman stored her urine in a bottle and kept it in a freeze when she was pregnant.

She later very cunningly got her abortion. However, she used the urine for pregnancy tests whenever she needed money. She used the urine to show that she was pregnant and continued to demand money from her boyfriend.

Social Media Stunned:

The girl’s confession has sparked outrage on social media, with people demanding the rights for men.

“And now she is sharing tips with the world!!! Why doesn't she write a book? Why is she not being arrested if this at all is true??” a user commented.

Likewise, another user wrote, “What the hell, this is some next level vile thinking & actions. Just pathetic to see how low people are stooping in greed. No surprises relationships are getting transactional & are heading where finding someone who can be trusted is very difficult. Very sorry state of affairs!”

“Adharma is getting stronger day by day as Kalyug progresses,” shared another user.
