In India, every groom dreams of making a dashing entry at the bride's home/ marriage mandap with a grand wedding procession. Music, dance, colourful attires and baraatis combine to celebrate the joy and excitement of getting married. In general, the groom's family members, relatives and close friends accompany him in the procession. The baraatis dance their hearts out to the music beats. Even, there are instances of people hiring a few dancers for the baraat procession. However, recently a video of a baraat procession has stormed the internet in which it is claimed that the groom's father hired 20 Russian dancers to dance along with other baraatis.
The groom, identified as Akshit, is seen standing in his vehicle along with his father and others. Meanwhile, an elderly man is seen standing infront of the vehicle and dancing. However, they are surrounded by the Russian dancers from all sides. The young Russian girls are seen in different glittering attires and dancing. Interestingly, no other baraatis are seen in the video. The beautiful Russian girls seem to have taken up the road and dancing.
While this must have been a unique experience for the Russian dancers, one can just imagine the condition of the other baraatis. However, for the spectators it must have been an unforgettable experience to watch the extravagant procession, blending Russian dance styles with traditional Indian weddings.
