Keeping our surroundings clean and tidy is crucial to prevent risk of diseases and infections. Furthermore, it prevents accidents, hazards and promotes environmental conservation. While it is everyone's responsibility to keep their surrounding clean, several individuals lacking civic sense don't pay heed to proper waste disposal and litter the trash irresponsibly. Well, here we bring a video of a Tiny Titan that has a valuable lesson for humans.
Elephant Calf Has Civic Sense!
Elephants are renowned for their exceptional intelligence and cognitive abilities. Well, in the recent viral video, the baby elephant calf is seen walking along the roadside with an adult elephant.
However, as they walk on the roadside, they come across a trash bin and a tin can is seen littered. Surprisingly, the Tiny Titan picks the can with its trunk and disposes it in the trash bin. While the elephant calf disposes the trash, the adult pachyderm waits for the baby. Later, the calf rushes to its mother and continues marching.
While the origin of the video couldn't be verified, the short clip has gone viral on social media. Sharing the clip on X, retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) official Susanta Nanda wrote, "If Chotu can, We all can. High time we learn these civic sense to keep our surroundings neat & tidy." (sic)

Another wrote, "Aww. He has more civic sense than most of us." (sic)
Meanwhile, a third user wrote, "Aapka chottu champ hai champ har jagah" (in Hindi) (sic)
However, a few others also opined that the clip is AI-generated. On the other hand, grok (AI chatbot) confirmed that the clip is from Sri Lanka and was captured in 2015. Whether AI-generated or not, the message is clear.
