Lions are apex predators and are known for their hunting prowess. However, these powerful predators prioritize their natural prey instead of attacking humans. However, the sight of a lion is enough to raise the heartbeat. However, it is not the same in India's Gujarat. Social media is flooded with videos of human-lion encounters in Gujarat. Well, recently a video has gone viral on social media that shows a schoolboy pulling a lion's tail. However, instead of getting shocked, netizens fumed over such acts of the kid.

Schoolboy Pulls Lion's Tail
In the video, the schoolboy is seen approaching the lion while carrying his school bag. The lion is tied to the gate of a residential building with an iron chain.
While the lion moves towards the gate, the kid grabs its tail and starts pulling it. The lion tries to restrain its tail but the kid seems not to be in the mood to leave the wild animal.
Suddenly, the lion moves behind and pulls back its tail with force making the kid tumble on the floor. Instantly, a man rushes to pick up the kid while the lion continues to look at the young bully.
As claimed, the lion ventured into a small village in Gujarat. Locals tied it with a chain and kept him as a pet.

While the authenticity behind the video and claims couldn't be verified, it is shared on Instagram by memechatapp. The video has amassed over 98.7K likes. However, netizens have flooded the comments section venting out their anger for troubling the wild animal just for fun.
Notably, Gujarat's Gir Forest is home to Asiatic lions. Lions venturing into human settlements in search of food and water are quite a common sight in the villages overlapping with the forest. Human-lion encounters in the State are quite frequent.
