Traditionally, education has been seen as a pathway to grab a degree while honing knowledge and skills, and secure employment. Almost everyone desires a high-paying job and stability. While some achieve their goals, others continue their struggle to achieve their life targets. However, recently, with the emergence of social media, we come across various reports where online influencers achieve high success, despite not having any degree. Moreover, their lucrative income has become a nightmare for degree holders. However, here we bring a video of a Kabadiwala or scrap dealer whose per-day income is literally a 'slap' on the face of degree holders.
In the video, the kabadiwala can be seen walking down a street of a marketplace at night. The shops in the market are shut down. A youth recording the video approaches the scrap dealer from behind and inquires what was he smoking.
With a big plastic bag hanging from his back, the scrap dealer replies, "Flavoured vape."

This surprises the youth and he again asks about his profession. To this, the scrap dealer replies, "Kabada bechta hoon Bhaiya (I deal with scraps)."
Next, the youth asks about his income. What the Kabadiwala replies is certainly shocking for any degree holder.
The Kabadiwala replies, "Rs 5000," and when the youth asks if it is per day income, with a bright smile, he replies, "Yes."
Learning about his per-day income, the youth gets utterly shocked.
While the authenticity of the video and the made claims couldn't be verified, if it has anything to go by, his per day income is Rs 5000 which makes his monthly earnings around Rs 1,50,000. Indeed, his monthly income is far more than many degree holders across the country.
The video post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Nikhil Mishra has a caption reading, "Living out of Matrix and avoiding taxes."
Well, this Kabadiwala is a big example of 'riches in rags' and they don't even have to pay any taxes on their income and they also enjoy freebies from the government.
The video has gone viral and the post has sparked a debate in the comments section.
