Passengers get into ‘kalesh’ over seat inside train, video goes viral

Public transports including trains, buses and metros often turn into battlegrounds, with everyday dramas and fights by passengers becoming a favourite topic on the internet. Amidst thousands of videos of public nuisance, another video has surfaced online that shows passengers clashing over seat inside a train.

Shared on X, the video shows a man confronting a couple to vacate their seats. Another passenger tries to defuse the situation, but the man gets more agitated. Furious, the seated passenger, who is eating, stands up and requests that they finish their meal before vacating the seat.

A woman passenger with him also pleads with the man to give them five minutes until they finish their food. However, the man refuses to give them time, further escalating the situation. Other passengers join in to bring the situation under control, but the man refuses to back down.

This leads to chaos among the passengers who started pushing and assaulting each other. Popular X platform ‘Ghar Ka Kalesh’ shared the video and wrote, “Kalesh b/w Passengers in genreal coach inside Indian railways over some seat issues.”

The video has since then gone viral with different reactions from social media users.

“It is a big sin to disturb someone while eating, the train does not belong to anyone's family, it belongs to everyone,” commented a user.

Another user shared, “Neta bhi seat ke liye pareshaan aam aadmi bhi seat ke liye pareshaan.”

“Ye general me kis baat ki seat maang raha jab already log bethe hue hn 🙄,” shared another user.
