Speaking to Khabar Express, the technician recounted how their romance bloomed. After completing a ceiling fan repair job, the woman asked for his phone number, ostensibly for future repair needs. Their interactions slowly turned into something deeper.
“Pankha kharab tha toh gaon mein toh koi bhi bula hi leta hai. Inhone phone kara mujhe aur bulaya humko” (The fan wasn’t working and in villages people usually call whoever is available. She called me over to fix it).
“She then asked me for my number and told me that she would call me directly if the fan stopped working again,” the mechanic recalled. However, she had instantly fallen for him in the first meeting and finally opened up about her feelings.
The woman confessed she had an immediate attraction but kept her emotions hidden initially. To spend more time with the technician, she created reasons for him to return to her home, claiming issues with various household appliances, from the fan to the Dish TV service.
“Inke bina humara mann nahin lagta tha thoda bhi. Inse pyaar ho gaya tha bahut zyada (I couldn’t focus on anything without him. I had fallen deeply in love with him),” the woman stated.
A Love that Led to Marriage
She further revealed that the man initially didn’t pay much attention to her. But she kept finding reasons to call him to her house. Sometimes it was the fan, other times the lights or the Dish TV. Eventually, their frequent meetings eventually resulted in a shared understanding and a blossoming relationship that culminated in marriage.
