The Netherlands Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, recently visited the G20 Summit in Delhi. Later, he travelled to Bengaluru, where he showed his love for Masala chai, just like many Indians do.

While in Bengaluru, Mark Rutte was spotted enjoying a cup of Masala chai at the popular "Chai Point" on Church Street.

He even made the payment using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

The Dutch PM shared a video of his Bengaluru visit on X with a caption that summarised his trip to India.

In the video, he talked about his experiences in India and his interactions with the locals.

He engaged in various activities, such as walking and cycling along Church Street, accompanied by Bengaluru's bicycle mayor, Sathya Sankaran.

Mark Rutte also took the time to interact with the crowd and pose for selfies.

Rutte underscores robust Netherlands-India economic relations, citing 350+ Dutch firms operating here, emphasising shared innovation and growth in agriculture and water management, the Dutch PM wrote this in another X post.

On X, where the video was shared, some users commented on his visit. One user remarked, "Candy trip without Dutch interest," while another simply said, "Precies."
