After Fanta Maggi and Momo Ice-Cream, now Mumbai’s viral ‘Matka Dosa’ has left foodies angry with a video of the bizarre food combination going viral on the internet.

In a video that has clocked over 50.1K views, we can see the complete making of the trending dish that has got everyone talking. The video opens with a youth holding the ‘Matka Dosa’ and posing for a picture.

Soon, the video shows how the vendor made the entire dish. The vendor first lands a big butter on a tawa and spreads it around the skillet. Later, he adds freshly chopped broccoli, onions, and pepper to the melted butter. Later, he adds chopped cheese and everything is tossed until the paneer becomes slightly golden brown.

In another skillet, the vendor splashes some water and lands a thick dosa banter until it forms a thin crepe. Later, he adds some salted butter to the dosa, followed by a drizzle of tomato ketchup, chili sauce, spices, salt, and a thick, in-house, spicy yogurt-based spread.

Once everything is ready, the dosa is taken off the tawa and folded on top of the matka, as a kind of funnel. The unique dish has received mixed reactions from Twitteratis online.

“Where do I lodge an FIR?” commented one user while another user wrote, “Whhhhhyyy? Why do they do this with Dosa? It is such a simple dish that has been hijacked by these innovators and destroyed.”

A third user wrote, “Why is every Indian food nowadays adulterated with this cheese stuff? It could be much better without it.”

“Being a south Indian, I condemn this. We don’t want our dosa to be butchered, changed, and made like biryani. This is noise and nonsense,” commented another user.
