A video of cricket stars MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Rishabh Pant dancing joyfully at a wedding in Mussoorie has gone viral on social media. The trio grooved to the Sufi hit ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar’ during the sangeet ceremony of Pant’s sister, Sakshi, who is set to marry businessman Ankit Chaudhary on Wednesday.

Wedding Festivities in Full Swing

Pant, fresh from India’s Champions Trophy victory in Dubai, flew to Uttarakhand on Monday to join his family. He participated in pre-wedding rituals, including the mehendi, haldi, and sangeet. Videos shared on Sakshi’s Instagram show the cricketers dancing freely, with Dhoni and Raina adding their signature charm to the celebrations.

Dhoni, rarely seen at public events, arrived in Mussoorie with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, via Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport. Dressed casually, the former captain appeared relaxed, while Raina matched the energy on stage.

Fan Comments:

Fans reacted to the video with several emotions ranging from disbelief to reality checks. ‘Captain Cool is still cool,’ wrote one. Others followed with ‘Dhoni’s energy! How can anyone not like this man,’ ‘All I want in life is to spend a few moments with Dhoni, maybe dance with him.’

Meanwhile, a few others brought in reality checks with ‘Cricket legends celebrating with each other while their fans battle in comments is peak humanity’ and ‘People say cricketers have rivalry but I guess they need to see this video’.

Star-Studded Guest List

Reports suggest Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli may attend the wedding, though their presence remains unconfirmed. The event has drawn attention for blending cricket royalty with heartfelt family moments.

Pant’s Busy Schedule

Pant, who was bought for a record ₹27 crore by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL, is set to lead the team next season. He will join the LSG camp after the wedding festivities conclude.
