A young man’s stunt at a popular tourist spot in Maharashtra ended in horror on Wednesday evening after his car plummeted 300 feet into a deep gorge. The incident occurred at Table Point on the Patan-Sadavaghapur road in Karad, a location famed for its breathtaking views but notorious for its lack of safety measures.
The victim, identified as Sahil Anil Jadhav from Gholeshwar, was reportedly performing car stunts with friends when he lost control of the vehicle. In a shocking moment captured on video, now viral on social media, the car is seen hurtling off the edge and getting lodged in the gorge below.

According to India Today, Sahil sustained severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to Sahyadri Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Table Point, located 3-4 km from Patan in the Gujarwadi area, is known for its inverted waterfall views and sprawling flat terrain bordered by sheer valleys. While it attracts tourists in large numbers, the site remains devoid of basic protective infrastructure like guardrails or warning signs. Locals say the absence of a police presence has emboldened dangerous activities.
