At a time when the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj has enveloped the country in a blanket of spirituality, a girl from the city has caught the internet's attention with her daring feat of unfurling the Maha Kumbh flag while skydiving at 13,000 feet over Bangkok.

A clip shared from her Instagram handle has now gone viral. It shows the girl, named Anamika, holding the Maha Kumbh flag before boarding the aircraft. Moments later, she leaps from the plane, unfurling the flag mid-air, symbolically inviting people from around the globe to the Maha Kumbh 2025.

Captioned as, “Inviting the world for MAHAKUMBH @ Prayagraj from the skies of Bangkok Thailand,” the video won the hearts of netizens for being one-of-a-kind and highlighting the spiritual significance of the event, which has already drawn visitors from several parts of the globe.

Soon enough, comments filled with admiration and appreciation flooded in. “You are the pride of Prayagraj,” wrote one viewer. Another continued the enthusiasm with “Maha Kumbh is an event that happens only in India, everyone must know and witness it”.

Others followed with praises for her daredevil leap with “Fly high sister, you are on top of the world!” and “It fills my heart to see this”.

Incidentally, the Maha Kumbh is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. Beginning on January 13, the spiritual event will continue until February 26 and is expected to draw over 35 crore devotees to the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers for ritual dips during this auspicious alignment of the planets.
