Samajwadi Party MP and veteran actor Jaya Bachchan has once again made headlines for losing her temper in public. This time, the incident unfolded at Delhi’s Constitution Club on Tuesday, when a man tried to take a selfie with her.
In a video now making rounds on social media, Bachchan is seen pushing the man away while firmly saying, “Kya kar rahe hai aap? What is this?” Standing nearby was Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, who turned to look after the shove before calmly walking into the Club.
This is far from the first time Jaya Bachchan’s fiery reactions have gone viral. Recently, during a special Parliament debate on Operation Sindoor, she scolded treasury bench members for interrupting her speech, declaring, “Either you speak or I will speak.” Even Priyanka Chaturvedi, seated beside her, received a mild reprimand for gesturing while she was talking.
Last year, Bachchan bristled in the Rajya Sabha when Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhar introduced her as ‘Jaya Amitabh Bachchan’. She shot back, expressing disapproval of the tone and stressing that they were colleagues, adding, “Your tone is not acceptable.”
