Well, recently, a video went viral on social media, which shows a thief being punished by locals in a unique way after he was caught red-handed inside a gym.
Thief Punished With Intense Workout!
In the viral video, a young man is seen doing intense workouts including curls, squats, pushups, benchpresses and more with the available gym equipment.
The clip shows him finding it difficult to complete the exercises. He can be seen crying and requesting relief from his suffering.
While the authenticity behind the claims couldn't be verified, Reportedly, the young man broke into a gym in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. However, while attempting to steal some unspecified items from the gym, he was caught red-handed by the locals. Instead of handing him over to the police, the locals punished him with forced workout in the gym.

Though the origin of the video couldn't be obtained, it is shared on X by Ghar Ke Kalesh. The video has gone viral on social media and garnered over a million views. Apart from likes, users have flooded the comments section with interesting comments.
Netizens hailed it as an innovative and unique form of punishment.
One user wrote, "That is a pretty unique form of punishment. He will certainly not be able to steal for at least a week after this." (sic)
