Well, she said a big YES! Against the backdrop of their shared passion for Bollywood movies, the youth’s creative proposal in the bustling airport proves that romance knows no boundaries.
Like a scene straight out of a Bollywood movie, the youth Yashraj Chhabra took to the announcement mike at the airport to call his girlfriend Riiya Shukla. The girl was first surprised to hear the voice of Chhabra making the announcements.
Before she could understand anything, their friends and families reached the main area of the airport with placards reading ‘Will You Marry Me?”. Later, Chhabra gracefully went down on one knee and proposed to her with an engagement ring.
The ring was sparkling like the twinkle in the girl’s eyes and she said a YES as the couple shared a tight hug.
“I was completely taken aback. He is my home,” Shukla confessed, her voice tinged with a lot of emotions.
With diverse cultural backgrounds, the couple is now planning a wedding that beautifully blends Hindu Gujarati and Sikh traditions as the bride belongs to a Hindu Gujarati family while the groom is Sikh.
