Huge King Cobra rescued from tree, its size leaves people spellbound; watch

A huge king cobra, the world’s largest venomous snake, was captured from a tree in Agumbe Ghat in the western ghat of South Karnataka. Hundreds of locals gathered to get a glimpse of the massive reptile.

Locals spotted the snake and alerted the snake rescuers who rescued it safely and released it in the forest. The snake had climbed on a tree and it took a lot of efforts for the snake rescuers to capture the endemic creature.

IFS Susant Nanda shared the video on X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “King Cobra in Agumbe Ghat in western ghat of South Karnataka. Rescued & released safely🙏” 

The massive snake has left netizens online spellbound with its size who left different reactions in the comments section.

“It's a huge in size, magnificent at the same time, hats off to rescuers they rescued the snake like handling a chipakli,” commented a user.

Another user shared, “Called KING for a reason🙏🏻 Chandramukhi paambu.”

“What an incredibly majesticking Cobra this is ! Not only have saved him. You have probably saved about 10 snakes nearby.!!! this guy doesn’t look like he will stop at 10! I wish to see a king cobra in the wild some day,” shared another user.

“Its huge 😳 This guy (the snake) gives you only 15 minutes after it bites u. Scary,” commented a user.
