Hen fosters kittens! Video leaves netizens in awe; watch

Female birds incubate their eggs to hatch. In this natural process, they sit on a clutch of eggs after laying those in their nests. In this process, they transfer their body temperature which helps the babies inside the eggs to develop correctly. It is quite common to find broody hens sitting on the laid eggs. 

But, here we bring a video that will leave you amazed.

As seen in the video, a big hen is seen sitting in its nest. The scroll on the video reads, “You’ ll never guess what’s under this hen!” (sic)

The person capturing the video in a mobile camera approaches the hen and lifts it up. 

There were no eggs under the hen. Instead, three kittens were under it and they popped out their heads as soon as the hen is lifted up. 

Hens fostering kittens is certainly surprising. Isn’t it!

The video shared on Twitter by The Pet Collective has gone viral with garnering over 84K views. Moreover, the video has won the hearts of netizens with several appreciating the hen. Users also went on to share that chickens have an amazing nurturing nature.
