In childhood, gully cricket is one of the favourite pastimes for kids. Even as they grow up, they still have the same enthusiasm for the game. 

Gully cricket often comes with its own unique rules and regulations, which are a bit unconventional. 

Recently, a video of a gully cricket match went viral on social media, showcasing one such bizarre rule.

In the video, a group of men can be seen playing cricket in a field. When the batter hits the ball, a fielder runs to catch it but loses his balance and moves a few steps toward an unmarked boundary line.

Without a formal review system, they must figure out if the fielder crossed the boundary line.

The fielder stays in place while his teammates gather around to measure the boundary.

After trying different methods, they use a large rope to mark the line. After a heated debate about where the boundary should be, the batter is eventually declared out.

The video has garnered 16.2 million views and 775,000 likes, with many users commenting on it.

One user commented, “11 fielders nahi, 22 umpires hain.” Another user added, “I was supporting the fielder very seriously."
