A young man, dressed in wedding attire, was the cynosure of all the eyes when he reached an examination centre to appear for his LLB fifth semester exam in Haridwar on Monday.
According to Aaj Tak, an LLB student of Purnanand Tiwari Law College Tulsi Prasad alias Tarun, a resident of Ghazi Wali Shyampur Kangri, was married to Siddhi, a native of Hisar, Haryana, on Sunday.
However, on the next day (Monday) his CPC paper of the 5th Semester was scheduled, which he couldn’t afford to miss as his whole year would have been wasted.
So, he decided to appear for the exam right after getting married and reach directly to the exam venue from in-laws' house.
He reached the venue in his bridal attire as there was no time for him to go to his home to change it. He had already taken permission from the Principal to write the exam in the groom's dress.
While the youth was giving the exam, his bride and family members waited for him outside the examination centre. After appearing for the exam, the groom went home and completed the rest of the rituals with his bride.
“If that child had left this paper, his whole year would have been wasted. Because of this, the student had sought permission to take the exam in the groom’s attire." Ashok Kumar Tiwari, Principal of Pandit Purnanand Tiwari Law College, told Aaj Tak.
“He gave first priority to the paper. It’s a good thing and we appreciate him for the same,” added Tiwari.
