Nature never fails to surprise. Several fascinating creatures can be found around our environment that can survive without a head or certain body parts. While some creatures regrow their body parts, some survive for some time limit. However, without internal organs, it is certainly impossible to survive. Can you even imagine a fish swimming in water without its internal organs?

Recently, a video surfaced on the internet that shows a 'ghostly fish' swimming back into water, without its internal organs.

In the viral video, a man shows the fish with its body split from the middle. As the man explains, the fish has no stomach, intestines, liver and liver. Moreover, except for its skull, a major part of the head is missing, even its gills.

However, as soon as the man brings the fish close to the water, first it trembles and starts swimming. The fan fishes it out from the water. But, again it swims like a normal fish when left in water.

Well, there must be some scientific reason behind this, or it might be an edited video. But, some netizens stated it to be a 'ghostly' or 'paranormal' activity.

While the source of the video couldn't be obtained, it is shared on Instagram by md Shahnawaj Alam. The video has gone viral and amassed over 674K likes. Moreover, the comments section is filled with hilarious reactions. While some suggested it to be an edited one, a few others shared the possible scientific reason behind such activity.

One user wrote, "This is normal. The movements occur because the muscles and nerves go through a short phase of hyper excitability as they are progressively deprived of oxygen and die. The movements are not indication that the animal is still alive. An animal that is conscious has sensory perception." (sic)

Meanwhile, another wrote, "It's muscle memory power." (sic)

"Notice the sitting position, video changed," wrote a third user. (sic)
