In this internet age, various concerning videos from different schools surface on social media that show unethical activities. Different incidents of teachers attending classes in inebriated conditions, sleeping inside classrooms or engaging students other than learning. Recently, a video surfaced on social media that shows students massaging the legs of a teacher inside the classroom.
The purported incident was captured inside a classroom of a Government Higher Primary School in Jaipur's Kartarpur, Rajasthan. In the video, the female teacher, identified as Rekha Soni, can be seen lying on the ground while two boys massage her legs. The students are seen standing on the teacher's legs. Meanwhile, another female teacher can be seen sitting on a chair nearby. However, instead of restricting the students from doing so, she remains silent.
Soon after the video went viral, it raised concerns among many. Several teachers have even expressed displeasure over the incident.
As per reports, the school's principal, Anju Chaudhary said that she is unaware of the specific incident, but she has come across the video. Further, she stated that the teacher might have been unwell for which she might have asked the students to massage her. However, she assured that an investigation into the incident would be launched to find the truth.
After the video went viral triggering outrage, the Director of Elementary Education, Sitaram Jat, confirmed that after investigating the incident, the teacher was found to be against the rules and she was suspended.
