Lions are powerful apex predators who remain on the top of the food chain. Rarely, do any other animal species get engaged in a battle with the 'King of forest'. Elephants, tigers, hippopotamus and certain other powerful animals can dare to challenge these big cats. However, would you believe your eyes if you saw a stray dog attacking a lion?
Though it sounds surprising, recently, a video surfaced on the internet that shows a stray dog attacking a lion pair. Not just once, the dog attacked the lion pair multiple times, especially the male lion. The fearless stray dog attacking the lion pair is something you can't miss.
In the viral video, a lion pair can be seen lying on the grassland. Suddenly, a dog approaches them. As soon as the lion pair sees the dog, they stand up and immediately walk closer to the dog. Seeing their prey so close, the lion pair get ready to kill it.
On the other hand, the dog instantly starts barking and jumping. The stray dog is absolutely a no match to the big cats, in size, power and hunting tactics. However, the dog confidently jumps on the lioness first while barking continuously. After the lioness takes a step back, the dog attacks the male lion.
While the big cats seem to be waiting for the right opportunity, the dog continues to attack both of them, one after the other.
As the lion pair remains silent and stares, the dog walks to the other side while limping. However, once again the lion pair starts following the dog. But, this time the dog turns more violent and barks furiously. It targets the male lion and attacks unstoppably.
As it seems, the lion pair was surprised by the unexpected attack and allowed the dog to walk away.
Indeed, being confident anyone can dare to face any sort of hurdle and triumph. The dog even gave a 'tough fight' to the 'King of the Forest.'
While the origin source of the video couldn't be obtained, it was shared on Instagram by 7 Karilo. The text on the video reads, "Raja hoga apne ghar ka." (sic)
