Crocodiles are apex predators and it is almost impossible to escape from their sharp and powerful jaws. However, though these deadly reptiles are formidable predators in water, their power and speed get reduced significantly on land. On the other hand, tigers are apex predators and skilled hunters. Their powerful physiques, sharp claws, and excellent hunting tactics make them highly effective predators. Even they have no natural predators in the wild.
Have you ever thought, about what will be the consequence if both these apex predators confront each other?
Well, recently, two videos surfaced on the internet showing an unbelievable incident of a crocodile confronting an adult tiger.
In the first video, the tiger is seen busy with its prey, which seems like a huge boar. However, surprisingly, the huge crocodile crawls towards the tiger, which is lying on the ground while holding the prey in its jaws and claws.
Unexpectedly, the crocodile increases its speed and charges towards the tiger. The reptile widens its jaws while charging the tiger. Luckily, the tiger gets up while holding its prey and escapes from the attack. However, least bothered about the attack, the tiger turns to the other side while holding its prey. Next, it starts moving away from the spot while dragging the wild boar. As the reptile can't match the speed of the tiger on the land, it remains still in its place and continues to stare.
Meanwhile, in another video, a direct confrontation of a tiger and a crocodile is seen. As the battle took place on the land, the crocodile stood no chance to win the battle.
The first video, which was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Nature is Amazing, has garnered over 1.1 million views and over 6.3K likes. The second clip is shared on the social media platform by Animals Goin' Hard.
Well, surprised netizens have flooded the comments section expressing their shock.
