There is a common perception that police officers are ruthless and emotionless. However, there are cops who are great examples of being compassionate and empathetic. Recently, a cop is winning the hearts of netizens after his video went viral on social media.

The video shows the cop holding a bunch of reflective neckbands in his hands. He is seen standing in the middle of a highway with a cow standing close to him. As a car approaches him, he signals the driver to divert. He then waves his hand so that the cow moves to the roadside. He holds his strap gently pulls him to the roadside and ties a reflective neckband. Next, he is seen tying more reflective neckbands to other stray cattle roaming on the road. Not just one, the cop ties the neck bands on several stray cattle.

Tying the reflective neck bands can increase the visibility of stray cattle to the drivers, especially during late nights. The reflective collars alert the drivers and they can slow down their vehicle. This decreases the risks of collision/accidents. While on one hand the stray cattle can get saved from getting crushed under the wheels of speeding vehicles, the risk of losing control of small vehicles reduces.

This cost-effective and simple solution can help to prevent accidents of both humans and stray animals.

While the video source couldn't be verified, it is shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Ranvijay Singh. The caption for the post reads, "The Police Officer tied a reflector band around the neck of the Cows to save them from an accident in night..." (sic)

Well, the video has gone viral and been viewed by over 476K users and is liked over 12K times. Moreover, the comments section is flooded with appreciation for the cop.
