It is quite likely for forest service officials, especially forest guards to encounter wild animals. Forest guards face numerous challenges and dangers while protecting wildlife. In some instances, these green soldiers lose life in the line of duty after encounters with wild animals. Several reports of such unfortunate incidents surface almost every day. However, recently a video of two green soldiers surfaced on the internet that shows their close encounter with a Royal Bengal Tiger. The forest guards climbed up a tree to save life and one of them recorded the entire incident on his mobile camera.

The video shows the deep forest and as the camera pans, the forest guard is seen atop a tree. He is seen tightly gripping the tree with one hand while holding the tree with the other. Next, he turns the camera giving a glimpse of the forest. He fixes the camera focus at one spot. After a few moments, the Royal Bengal Tiger appears from the woods. He carefully turns the mobile following the Tiger.

The big cat is seen walking straight. But, suddenly, he pauses and walks towards the tree, on which the forest guard took shelter. Suddenly, the tiger looks up to the tree. As it seems, it sensed the forest guard on the tree.

The tiger waits for a while and takes another route while the forest guard very carefully captures the terrifying incident on his mobile.

Sharing the clip on X, Indian Forest Services (IFS) official Parveen Kaswan wrote, "What a story of bravery and presence of mind. Shri Annulal and Dahal - two forest guards encountered a tiger in Satpura TR while on duty. One of them captured on mobile. What it takes to save wildlife and forest on field." (sic)

Further, he elaborated on the incident.

He wrote, "The incident is from last month. When both of them were on duty and heard sounds of tiger approaching. Both climbed a tree on time and Annulal made this video. Once the tiger went away both of them reached the destination safely. Clearly showing how dangerous this field job is and how presence of their mind helped them without losing the calm."

Well, the video has gone viral on social media and amassed massive likes. Netizens have also flooded praises on the daring forest guard.
