Bride calls off marriage as groom’s girlfriend accompanies him to wedding, high drama...

High drama was witnessed after a bride called off her marriage when she learned about the presence of the groom’s lover during her wedding in Haryana.

According to a Jagran report, the wedding was taking place at a wedding venue on Singhana Road on Thursday.  Everything was going on smoothly; the groom along with his baraat had reached the venue and the jaimala ceremony also took place.

However, a girl wearing a black saree in the baraat was seen hovering near the groom all the time.  When the bride’s family questioned the girl's identity, the groom's family told them she was a relative.

Later, when the varmala was taking place, the girl wearing the black saree had tears in her eyes and the boy's eyes were also moist. Then the bride got suspicious and asked about the girl and the boy told her that she was his sister. 

Meanwhile, the bride's cousin had seen something suspicious, about which he told everything to the bride's mother. Later, they came to know that the girl was the groom's girlfriend; and a dispute ensued at the spot.

The bride then refused to marry the groom and her family supported the decision.  

Reportedly, it is being told that the girl is a doctor by profession and the groom's parents already knew everything about her. 

In such a situation, the groom's grandfather apologized, pacified the matter, and promised to return whatever expenditure the bride's side had incurred on the wedding ceremony. Both the parties agreed upon this for Rs 25 lakh.
