Anand Mahindra in awe of woman’s ‘desi jugaad’ for ice cream maker

Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra is known for his love for life hacks. The Billionaire often shares hilarious yet inspiring and life lesson videos on his social media platforms.

Recently, he came across a ‘desi jugaad’ by a woman to make ice creams and is in awe of her budget-friendly innovation. The social media’s favourite industrialist took to Twitter to share a video of the woman’s desi jugaad with his 10.4 million followers.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Hand-made and fan-made ice cream. Only in India…”

In the two-minute video, we can see a woman boiling and thickening flavoured milk. Once done, she transfers the milk into a cylindrical container. She then puts the container inside another large container and fills the gap between the containers with large ice chunks so as to create a makeshift freezer. She then ties the milk container to a fan using a rope.

The container rotates along with the rope thereby preparing the ice cream all ready to be served. The video has left netizens impressed with over 957.1k views and 27.6k likes and 3166 retweets.
