Ghazipur (UP): A village head was killed by some unidentified assailants in Mohammadabad area here, police said today.

Hriday Narain Rajbhar (30), head of Parsupur village, was killed last night when he was returning home after participating in a programme.

The police has lodged an FIR in this connection and is probing the matter.
