(image) Bhubaneswar: Minutes after robbing a man, two robbers were killed and a police constable was injured during an encounter with police on Kalashri-Gopalpur road in Jajpur, police informed on Friday.
The deceased duo was identified as Rajkishore and Amulya.
The robbers, at gun point, robbed Samal of his gold chain, his belongings and his bike.
In the meantime, some of the villagers of Kalashree Gopalpur area reached the spot and managed to nab one of the robbers-Zaheed Khan- while others managed to flee from the scene.
However, after being informed about the incident, police turned up at the spot instantly and interrogated Khan about the incident.

According to reports, the robbers, on Thursday night, had robbed one Biplab Samal of Anyaspur village under Baree police limits. The miscreants had stopped and looted Samal while he was returning to his village from Chandikhol at around 9 pm.
