Berhampur: Two brothers were hacked to death by a man at Mallijharapalli village in Badagada police station in Ganjam district, about 80 km from here, police said today.

The victims, identified as Antarjyami Mallick (65) and his younger brother Trinath Mallick (60), were sitting in their courtyard on Tuesday night when the accused attacked them with a sharp weapon, they said. The villagers caught the accused while he was trying to flee, the police said. Previous enmity was the likely cause of the gruesome incident.
