The number of content creators and social media influencers is on the rise. YouTube has become the best platform for content creators to create a unique identity without any expenses. Moreover, YouTubers rarely make any investment and upload just any random content and earn from the videos that go viral and garner massive views. However, recently a story of a woman content creator has surfaced on the internet who invested Rs 8 lakh and uploaded 250 videos. However, she announced her exit from YouTube after she got Rs 0 in return.
Nalini Unagar, invested Rs 8 lakh for her cooking channel Nalini's Kitchen Recipe, over the past three years. However, after her efforts yielded no results from YouTube, she made the difficult decision of quitting content creation and ending her YouTube career.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Nalini detailed her journey and the challenges she faced. She also mentioned in her post that she is selling her kitchen accessories and studio equipment after failing in her YouTube career.
Her post read, “I failed in my YouTube career, so I’m selling all my kitchen accessories and studio equipment. If anyone is interested in buying, please let me know.”
In a follow-up post, she wrote about her investment in making the videos and the result it yielded.
“I have invested approximately Rs 8 lakhs in my YouTube channel for building a kitchen, buying studio equipment, and promotions. The return? Rs 0,” she wrote.
While many users suggested her not to quit YouTube and extend their support, Nalini revealed that she dedicated 3 years and created 250 videos. But, she didn't get the response she hoped for so she stopped making videos and deleted all content from her channel.
She wrote, "I dedicated 3 years to YouTube, creating over 250 videos. However, I didn’t get the response I had hoped for, so I’ve finally decided to stop making videos and have deleted all my content from the platform."

Well, her post has sparked online discussions and users have flooded sympathy and advice for Nalini.
This is not the first time Nalini has made headlines. Last year, she got engaged in a heated argument with actress Swara Bhasker over issues of vegetarianism and body image.
