Recently, a poignant tale of a 10-year-old girl, who was diagnosed with an incurable cancer, has moved the netizens. What made them emotional is, before breathing her last, she fulfilled her last dream of marrying her childhood darling.
As per reports, 10-year-old Emma Edwards was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. She was given the heartbreaking news that her cancer was incurable.
Well, reportedly, before breathing her last, she expressed her last wish to tie the knot with her childhood darling Daniel Marshall Christopher Williams Junior, also known as DJ. Notably, previously when they both were eight, they attempted to marry at school during lunchtime. However, their initial attempt failed for obvious reasons.
As per reports, just a few weeks before she was due to pass away, arrangements were made for DJ and Emma's wedding. Around 100 guests turned up to witness their marriage at her granny's place. Emma's father walked her down the aisle and their third-grade teacher delivered an emotional speech. The duo tied the knot in the garden with Emma being on her bed with her teddies around.
Sadly, Emma passed away just a few weeks later. However, her last wish of marrying her childhood darling was fulfilled.
