Panic in the Night: Cobra Spotted Inside School
The terrifying incident unfolded late at night when school staff spotted the massive cobra inside the classroom. In a moment of shock and urgency, school officials locked the reptile inside a classroom, effectively trapping it but also risking the cobra becoming more agitated. Realising the gravity of the situation, they wasted no time in contacting the local snake helpline team for expert assistance.
A Tense Rescue Operation
Rescuing the cobra, however, was no walk in the park. Upon arrival, the snake helpline members were met with a daunting task. The cobra, uncooperative and defensive, launched into a prolonged game of hide and seek. The team had to navigate cautiously around the classroom, avoiding sudden movements and ensuring the safety of both the snake and the rescuers. The entire operation lasted nearly an hour, with the team finally managing to capture the snake using professional tools and techniques.
A Close Call Avoided
Fortunately, the incident occurred during the night, when no students or staff were present on campus. Had this happened during school hours, the outcome could have been far more dangerous. The staff’s presence of mind and the swift action of the rescue team were instrumental in averting what could have easily turned into a tragic encounter.
Snake Safely Released Into the Wild
Following the successful capture, forest officials arrived on the scene and later confirmed that the King Cobra was safely released back into its natural forest habitat. This ensured the safety of both the local community and the wild animal, which remains an important part of the region’s ecosystem.
In the end, it was a narrow escape—a story that could have ended very differently, but instead turned into a tale of courage, composure, and co-existence.
