In a bizarre incident, a model and social media influencer has claimed that her friends have not invited her for Christmas gatherings as she is ‘too attractive’. Marina Smith, who enjoys massive 923K followers on Instagram claimed that she would be ringing in the Christmas holidays alone this year.
The model from Brazil, who was the former Miss Bumbum winner from Sao Paulo believes that her friends are jealous and insecure of her as she is too attractive.
“I have been banned from Christmas dinner because the women think I’ll steal their men. They’re worried I might tempt their husbands and boyfriends,” she told NeedToKnow.
“Yes, I’m a beautiful woman, but that is not a reason for anyone to leave me out,” she added while denying making any kind of advances towards the partners of her friends.
“I dress to feel good. The problem isn’t with me. It is the insecurities of my friends’ that are causing them to miss out on having the ‘best friend’ they could have had,” she further added.
Marina enjoys a massive fan following on Instagram and often keeps her followers entertained with her stunning pictures. Recently, she shared a stunning picture of herself in a black outfit that broke the internet.
This isn’t the first time a woman has been banned from social gatherings due to her looks. Earlier, an Olympian was allegedly ousted for being too good looking and distracting other athletes.
Similarly, a 23-year-old social media influencer identified as Sabrina Low also recounted a similar experience when she was excluded from a friend’s bridal party.
